Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. She was the daughter of Sergey (d. 2019.) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus on 5 May 1998. Over the course of her career, she's won twelve WTA singles titles. One of them was an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is an additional area in which she excels. The US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. She also achieved the Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning both the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. The Sunshine Double was only possible for four couples. win this title in women's doubles. Then, in January 2023 was ranked the highest in singles. On 23rd August 2021, she climbed into the top two spots in the list of rankings. Following her victory at the Melbourne doubles tournament in February of 2021, she was able rise up the rankings to claim the first position on the list of that particular specialty. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach from 2018, until the season finished in 2019 and then for a limited time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann had a brief time as her coach from the month of August to September. Since the end of 2020 she's been instructed by her host countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her heroes.
